Summary

AI Photographer is a tool for professional photographers. The developer of the app does not collect, receive, store or sell any personal data. Everything the app handles — photos, guest contact details, settings and API keys — stays on the photographer's iPhone or iPad, or is sent directly from that device to services the photographer has chosen and configured with their own accounts. There are no analytics, no advertising identifiers and no tracking.

Who is responsible for the data

The photographer who installs and operates the app is the data controller for the photos they take and for the contact details their clients or guests enter. The developer of AI Photographer is not a party to that processing and has no access to it.

What the app does with photos

• Local storage. Photos taken with the device camera, received wirelessly from a camera, uploaded from a phone via the app's local web page, or imported from the photo library are stored in the app's private folder on the device. They are deleted when the photographer deletes them or uninstalls the app.
• AI scenes (optional). When the photographer or a guest chooses an AI scene, a copy of that one photo is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to the AI provider the photographer has configured — Google (Gemini API) or OpenAI (Images API) — using the photographer's own API key, together with a text description of the scene. The provider returns the generated image. Handling of the photo by the provider is governed by that provider's terms: Google Gemini API Terms and OpenAI API data usage policies. Both state that API inputs are not used to train their models by default. Nothing is sent to the developer of AI Photographer.
• Sharing (optional). When a photo is delivered by QR code, WhatsApp, SMS, email, AirDrop or a printer, it is sent only to the destination the guest or photographer chose. If the photographer has configured their own web hosting, Twilio account or email (SMTP/SendGrid) account, the photo or a link to it is transmitted through those services under the photographer's own agreements with them. Links to hosted photos expire automatically (24 hours by default).
• Photos app. If the photographer enables it, finished images are also saved to the device's Photos library.

Guest contact details

When a guest types a phone number or email address to receive a photo, the app stores that contact (name if given, number/email, event, date, and whether the guest opted in to marketing) in the app's private database on the device, so the photographer can keep a record of deliveries and, only if the guest ticked the separate marketing box, contact them about offers. This list never leaves the device unless the photographer exports it. The photographer is responsible for honouring opt-outs and for local law (e.g. GDPR, CCPA, TCPA, LFPDPPP in Mexico).

Minors

The app is intended for use by professional photographers (adults). Where guests may be under 18, the photographer should obtain a parent's or guardian's consent before creating AI images; the app provides a setting that disables retouching in that case.

Permissions the app asks for

• Camera — to take photos.
• Photos — to import photos and to save finished images.
• Local network — to receive photos from cameras over Wi‑Fi and to serve the QR download page and upload page on the same network.

Data we (the developer) collect

None. The app contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising SDK, and makes no network requests to servers operated by the developer. If you email us for support, we keep that correspondence only to answer you.

Security

API keys and the admin PIN are stored in the iOS Keychain. Connections to AI providers, hosting, Twilio and email servers use TLS. The optional built-in FTP receiver is a plain-FTP service intended for a private Wi‑Fi network or the device's own hotspot; it is off by default.

Your rights

Because the developer holds no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. Requests about photos or contact details should be directed to the photographer or studio that took the photo.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date.

Resumen

AI Photographer es una herramienta para fotógrafos profesionales. El desarrollador de la app no recopila, recibe, almacena ni vende ningún dato personal. Todo lo que la app maneja — fotos, datos de contacto de los invitados, ajustes y claves de API — permanece en el iPhone o iPad del fotógrafo, o se envía directamente desde ese dispositivo a los servicios que el fotógrafo eligió y configuró con sus propias cuentas. No hay analítica, ni identificadores publicitarios, ni rastreo.

Quién es responsable de los datos

El fotógrafo que instala y opera la app es el responsable del tratamiento de las fotos que toma y de los datos de contacto que sus clientes o invitados introducen. El desarrollador de AI Photographer no participa en ese tratamiento ni tiene acceso a él.

Qué hace la app con las fotos

• Almacenamiento local. Las fotos tomadas con la cámara del dispositivo, recibidas de una cámara por Wi‑Fi, subidas desde un teléfono mediante la página web local de la app o importadas de la fototeca se guardan en la carpeta privada de la app en el dispositivo. Se borran cuando el fotógrafo las elimina o desinstala la app.
• Escenas con IA (opcional). Cuando el fotógrafo o un invitado elige una escena de IA, una copia de esa foto se envía por conexión cifrada (HTTPS) al proveedor de IA que el fotógrafo configuró — Google (API de Gemini) u OpenAI (API de imágenes) — usando la clave de API del propio fotógrafo, junto con una descripción de texto de la escena. El proveedor devuelve la imagen generada. El tratamiento de la foto por el proveedor se rige por sus condiciones: Términos de la API de Gemini y Políticas de uso de datos de la API de OpenAI. Ambas indican que las entradas de la API no se usan para entrenar sus modelos por defecto. Nada se envía al desarrollador de AI Photographer.
• Envío (opcional). Cuando una foto se entrega por código QR, WhatsApp, SMS, correo, AirDrop o impresora, se envía únicamente al destino que eligió el invitado o el fotógrafo. Si el fotógrafo configuró su propio hosting web, cuenta de Twilio o cuenta de correo (SMTP/SendGrid), la foto o su enlace se transmite por esos servicios bajo los acuerdos del propio fotógrafo con ellos. Los enlaces a fotos alojadas caducan automáticamente (24 horas por defecto).
• App Fotos. Si el fotógrafo lo activa, las imágenes terminadas también se guardan en la fototeca del dispositivo.

Datos de contacto de los invitados

Cuando un invitado escribe un número de teléfono o correo para recibir una foto, la app guarda ese contacto (nombre si lo dio, número/correo, evento, fecha y si aceptó recibir promociones) en la base de datos privada de la app en el dispositivo, para que el fotógrafo tenga un registro de entregas y, solo si el invitado marcó la casilla separada de promociones, pueda contactarlo con ofertas. Esta lista nunca sale del dispositivo salvo que el fotógrafo la exporte. El fotógrafo es responsable de respetar las bajas y de cumplir la ley local (por ejemplo RGPD, CCPA, TCPA, LFPDPPP en México).

Menores de edad

La app está pensada para uso de fotógrafos profesionales (adultos). Cuando los invitados puedan ser menores de 18 años, el fotógrafo debe obtener el consentimiento de un padre o tutor antes de crear imágenes con IA; la app incluye un ajuste que desactiva el retoque en ese caso.

Permisos que pide la app

• Cámara — para tomar fotos.
• Fotos — para importar fotos y guardar las imágenes terminadas.
• Red local — para recibir fotos de cámaras por Wi‑Fi y servir la página de descarga por QR y la página de subida en la misma red.

Datos que recopilamos nosotros (el desarrollador)

Ninguno. La app no contiene SDK de analítica, ni de informes de fallos, ni de publicidad, y no realiza peticiones de red a servidores del desarrollador. Si nos escribes por soporte, conservamos esa correspondencia solo para responderte.

Seguridad

Las claves de API y el PIN de administrador se guardan en el Llavero de iOS. Las conexiones con proveedores de IA, hosting, Twilio y servidores de correo usan TLS. El receptor FTP integrado opcional es un servicio FTP sin cifrar pensado para una red Wi‑Fi privada o el punto de acceso del propio dispositivo; está desactivado por defecto.

Tus derechos

Como el desarrollador no conserva datos personales, no hay nada que podamos consultar, corregir o eliminar por nuestra parte. Las solicitudes sobre fotos o datos de contacto deben dirigirse al fotógrafo o estudio que tomó la foto.

Cambios

Publicaremos cualquier cambio de esta política en esta página y actualizaremos la fecha de vigencia.
